There's a lot of Eta's out there that don't get the credit they deserve for their fantastic voices and honoring the King in a respectful way. Some of them in my opinion are:
Gary Wesley,Dwight Isenhower,Ted Torres,Jesse Aron,Robert Washington. Which ones are your pick?

I didn't see Dean Z mentioned. He is such a true performer of the young Elvis, if you ever get a chance catch him at Legends in Branson, MO. Another name I didn't see mentioned was Victor Trevino Jr, he is really getting good as a ETA.

Robert Washington has one of the best voices out there, better than many...

thing is, as good as these guys are vocally, especially Jesse. these guys just dont have a good strong Elvis look. nothing personall its just the way it is.....(in fact nobody sounds like Elvis like Jesse does, thats my opinion anyway)

your right, nor will ever , cause there is only one Elvis. Shawn Klush and Donny Edwards are as close to the look as you can get in my opinion. There are a few out there who's voice is close, but on a recorded cd you can tell its not Elvis.

well thing is, as an Elvis fan first, nobody looks or sounds like Elvis in comparison. put a picture of Elvis and another ETA, togethere and there is no resemblance, i dont care who it is :-) not even close.

While no one out there looks exactly like Elvis, I would have to disagree in saying that none have a strong Elvis look. First, to properly assess an ETA's look, you would have to see them perform on stage....many, many of these guys transform and seem to channel Elvis onstage...with the mannerisms and facial expressions, these most definitely add to their look. Seeing a guys pic does not accurately give one an impression of what they become on stage. I agree Shawn Klush has this down to shut an art that it is almost eerie!
As far as being able to tell the difference between Elvis and vocally talented ETA's in recordings, well, most of Elvis fans would like to think we could always 100% tell the difference...but I highly doubt that this would always be the case. In fact, Jesse Aron's website has been shut down at least 5 times by Graceland, claiming copyright because they insisted Jesse's recordings were that of Elvis, which of course, they were not. What a great compliment! I know of this kind of thing happening to some other great ETA's as well. I have had die hard Elvis fans swear to me that they were listening to Elvis when in fact, it was Jesse. Of course, I can only speak about Jesse, but I would imagine that this has happened to a handful of other ETA's as well.
What it boils down to is that, yes, there is only one Elvis....but some of these ETA's come awfully darned close!

Well Heck! Whadya mean I don't look like Elvis? I've always looked exactly like Elvis, even my 4 year old tells me I do. I guess my ill fated career really is finally over. Dogonnit, I'm saving up for a wig and sideburns LOL

yep, for sure Teri i would have to say Jesse 60,s Elvis vocal similarity is incredible!! and probably the closest i have heard, between him an JAK there 60,s Elvis voice is damn amazing. as for 70,s i couldnt be fooled. but on occasion have been fooled by these 2 guys! in fact i recall many years ago i sent a sound clip of Jess to JAK and he thought it WAS Elvis!! :-)

just to correct , i didnt say none had a strong Elvis look, just the guys that were mentioned :-)

Yeah whatever, My daughter still says I look just like Elvis.
I even held a picture of E. next to me and I couldn't tell the difference, LOL

I think its great when a so called die hard Elvis fan thinks it is Elvis when in fact its Jesse.
I agree with you that on stage an ETA can transform into Elvis if he knows how to do it.
Yes and some do come very close, like Chris Conner on stage, Vocally and in looks.
