Hi! Michael's death was quite a shock. It really hasn't been a good week in the entertainment world but his death has overshadowed the other deaths this week.Ed McMahon,Farrah Fawcett and Koko Taylor will also be sadly missed. But with Michael is like part of my childhood has gone with him.I remember being really small back in the 80's and watching tv and just being so impressed with him at such a young age.He made his mark and a definite impact in the music world but unfortunately left us at a young age, only 50.In a way his death has been really similar to another Icon by the name of Elvis. And like Elvis,he will always be remembered and loved i'm sure.May your soul rest at ease Michael.I'm sure a lot of us will miss you....

Michael was a big part of why I became an entertainer, my father yelled for me to come into the living room back in 1983 there was something he thought I needed to see, It was the premeir of Thriller with all the zombies and dancing and I just stood there with my jaw dropped to the floor and from that day forward I was so into music and I use to record myself singing to Michaels records! I will put the headphones on in my living room and listen to Jacksons Destiny album and sing out loud and dance! Part of me wants to believe this isnt real but unfortunately we lost an amazing part of musical history yesterday! Despite his personal conflicts and ways I still think the man was a brilliant entertainer! I feel like I lost an old friend!
