Kenny you hit it on the head bud. Best thing is to study Elvis over and Over. I do at lease 2 to 3 hours a day because I will find something I didn't before. In his voice or in movie when he's on tour in the 70s. And your right there is ONLY ONE Elvis no one and I mean no one will ever come close to that mans talent and presents on the stage. There are some that are close.

I know I will never come close to that man called Elvis Presley. But if I can bring back memories for one person or make new ones then I have done my job that night, etc. One thing you will notice is Elvis always took time out of his fans, he was never in a rush unless his bodyguards where being butt heads that day.

I make sure everyone at my shows has at lease a few minutes with me. Even if it takes all night. If it wasn't for the Elvis fans I would not be doing what I'm doing and I always make sure when I'm on stage I say thank you.

I can go on and on but I wont. LOL

Love to all,

Hey Tim, You got it on the money and your'e gonna keep moving up the ladder doing what you do and your fans will love it. I just think it's not too smart come onto a site and insult every eta on here by stating, "My eta is the Ultimate". You people are my Friends and I don't appreciate anyone insulting or demeaning you folks with pompous statements like this. She probably didn't mean anything by this but sometimes people need to be more tactful. Placing more videos of Vince on this discussion after telling Lee Birchfield, "you are good, but check out my boy he's the best" is totally unecessary. It's fine to support any individual but do it with a little class and some "humility".
Pride has a way of biting back at a later date.
You my friends are the very best and I appreciate you!

Hello Elvisfan1948,
You are really gung ho on your local Elvis tribute artist. I would like to challenge you to something. You seem to be pretty internet saavy, so I would like you to search a few videos and let me know what you think. Not sure if you have ever seen any Elvis impersonators outside of Houston or not. Please look up videos on youtube of Shawn Klush, Brandon Bennett, Donnie Edwards, Justin Shandor, Gary Wessley, Dwight Icenhower, and of course Jesse Aron. After looking at these A-listers, you might not be so quick to claim Vince a champion of the 2009 Ultimate. It is not easy getting there.

It is definitely not an easy title to win! Shawn and Brandon deserved their win, and I think any of the other guys you mentioned could also easily take the title! (I am partial to one in particular, lol). Plus, all sorts of new guys out there ready to take on the challenge! Keep in mind, contests need to be taken with a grain of salt. The opinions of 3 or 4 judges are just that, opinions. There are just so many talented ETA's out there!

Just more ETA's for you to love, Elvisfan1948. Some really incredible talent out there...I am so proud of my very own husband.

You should be proud, sounds just like Elvis to me. Next time you come to Texas I will come to your show.

Thank you so much, I think he sounds pretty close to Elvis, too :)

It's almost like a society all on it's own that not allot of people are aware of , but we should be thankful to their favorite ETA's who expose people like elvisfan1948 to their own shows so that they can be in touch with what else is out there as well, it should spark interest on the fact that there are so many talented performers out there!

I think there's plenty people out there get carried away supporting their local ETA....myself included at times! I'd add Nathan Belt and Doug Church to that list of A-Listers.

Another guy in the UK at the moment that's getting a lot of attention is Malcolm King (yep...he's my local ETA!!)
