Hi everyone...!!!

Started off the new year with LOTS of 'Elvis' to look forward to!.....

Feb. 4th.... the 'Red Gala' evening... a benefit for Heart and Stroke at the Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo, BC....and Steve Elliott had us all rockin' for a very good cause!

What a blast!

Feb. 8th.... Elvis trilogy show 'Elvis! Elvis! Elvis! at the Port theater in Nanaimo and this lucky girl had second row seats!

I saw this show last year on it's west coast swing and it was wonderful...

The three featured performers this year were Donny Edwards, Pete Paquette, and Gino Monopoli....

Fun show!

THEN....(oh yes, there's more!)...Mr. Elliott returned to mid Vancouver Island (Courtenay) for a benefit show for the Soroptimist Society...March 4th

As always, crazy fun night and great show...!!!

Headed to Vegas in April.... a (slightly belated!) 50th birthday celebration.

Girls trip with my mom and two sister in laws...had a hoot!

Went to see 'Viva Elvis'...

I did enjoy it...BUT, I have to say that most of what I had heard about it rang true...I thought it was definitely 'kitchy' in spots...and I think Cirque did a much better job with the 'Beatles Love'...

Looking forward to summer.... (someone please tell Mother Nature to check her calendar...our spring has been really cool and rainy here on the west coast....yuk!)

The 10th anniversary of the Penticton Elvis Fest is less than a month away now...gonna be a great time...

(Hopefully the weather will be warm and sunny in Penticton! Am feeling like I could use a little vitamin D!) (LOL!) 

AND...my FAVE weekend of the entire summer....Nautical Days Fest in Comox on the BC day long weekend in Aug...

Would NOT miss this for ANYTHING!...again this year, Steve will headline...

The headline show just get bigger, better, and crazier every year...just way

too much fun to miss!...

And, (BONUS!)...Steve's making a stop in my home town of Parksville for a show before heading up to Comox for the festival...

UPDATE...June 30th....well, just arrived home from Penticton...Elvis Fest was fun...Mark Anthony is our newest champion...all the way from Australia!

Mr. Klush is always a treat to see...and the competition this year was outstanding...

The judges had a very difficult job!

First year for the new venue...but to be honest, I really missed the atmosphere at the Trade and Convention Center...

Fresh from his win in Penticton, Mark Anthony will be here in Parksville at the Bradley Center for a benefit show tonight...and Canada Day celebrations July 1st....Happy Canada Day, Eh!!!

Another Update...Aug 2011...

Had TONS of fun at the Nautical Days fest in Comox....what a blast!...

Steve Elliott worked his magic...HUGE crowds...great turn out...fun time had by all....can hardly wait for next year!
