12 years in 'Legends In Concert', now touring and doing my own shows. Singing and dancing in '3000 Miles To Graceland' in the red suit, 'Honeymoon..', 'Leaving Las Vegas', Leno 2x, Letterman, cohosted Carson Daly. 15 tours of Japan, also tour Australia and Canada regularly. As a boy I knew the real Elvis!

My favorite tribute artist is...: Les Smith, Chris Chan. Donny and Justin are great; Malcolm King is a comer!

Above all else I am a fan of the man. A few things about me:
1. I met and knew Elvis as a boy. It changed my life. He was a very decent, kind, and great man, and I won't abide people whose actions hurt his memory. If I see these type of people on your page; e.g. the ETA who demands to be called a 'stylist' (isn't that a hairdresser?) and says he's "better than Elvis" , please don't write to or ask to add me. No way - and no thanks.
2. I started doing an Elvis show in 'Legends' in '92; before that I didn't do it, except in a few Vegas venues, getting my chops ready for the public. I did a couple of contests that year: I have NOT done contests since. My position is 'if you are working why do contests?'. I have been in Japan on tour during each of the 'Ultimate Elvis' contests; the first one where many of the best Elvises competed, and the recent ones with more obscure ones. As much as I love to meet fans, it's always better in my opinion to be performing, not competing.
3. The 12 years I was in 'Legends' I met wonderful fans, and learned a bit about the wrong kind of fans - the dangerous ones. We had stalker and bomb-threat experiences in that show so I am careful about sharing personal info. Elvis is strong stuff!! and some folks can get a little crazy. Please be cool.

ILLEGAL SHOW IN SPAIN PLANNED FOR APRIL

A false production of my own show (licensed and registered to me) is being advertised in Madrid for 5 days in April.

1. They use my photos as well as those of the real Elvis, and promise in the ads to use my 'unedited' videos and audios of Elvis from my personal conversations with him - for which I will suspend the production lawfully and sue all involved. I already have a Madrid attorney preparing the action, with the backing of the Actors Union of Spain.

Seeking Great ETA for Aug 17th in Spain!!! Got to be ready and have the chops!

Need a good ETA to perform a live show in Spain, about 12 songs w/ full band (a GREAT one!). Must do all 3 eras - gold lame, leather, jumpsuit. Contests, contests, contests.......

And yet another invitation to a nowhere speck-on-the-map roadside town for an Elvis contest. Someone rents a hall, hires a band (or a DJ), and then 1. charges ETA's to compete in it, 2. charges exhibitors to rent booths, 3. charges the audience to view the contest. The prize? usually a donated belt or some such from some costumer, and maybe a few bucks.

Why do so, so many ETA's do these things? In almost 20 years of performing Elvis shows I haven't figured it out. Am I alone in…

The City was warm and beautiful, no signs of crime or trouble as the papers would have you believe. Our venues were gorgeous mega-shopping centers and no sign of economic slowdown there. It was a fantastic time.
