- About Me:
- Joe Ramsey is a native of Saratoga Springs NY and a current resident of Glens Falls NY. He has been performing Elvis for 4 years now; is also a local DJ and proud owner of JR Entertainment. Joe’s uncanny resemblance and stage presence to "The King of Rock & Roll" are exceeded only by his exceptional voice. Joe puts his heart and soul into every performance with a likeness to Elvis. Admittedly knowing nearly 200 of Elvis's songs, he states that he has been a true Elvis fan since he was 3 years old. Joe got started as an Elvis Tribute Artist in 2005 when he entered the Lake George Elvis Festival on Lake George NY. He entered in the non-pro division of the competition and made it to the finals. He finished first runner up that year. This was the first time Joe ever walked out on to a stage and also his first competition… ever. The following year in 2006 , Joe won the non-pro division when he entered the same Festival . In 2007 he entered the pro-70's division and finished a second runner up at Lake George. At the 2008 Lake George Elvis Festival, Joe won First Place in the Pro 70's division. He is planning on entering more competitions around the country. Joe has performed for allot of venues over the past four years. He has been to LaCrosse, Wisconsin for the annual Elvis Explosion. He has been to Montréal on three occasions, twice for the Performer's Showcase and once for the Montreal People's Choice Awards. Joe is very pleased with all of his accomplishments and very proud to be the newest member of Elvis Entertainers Network. He is also a member of Follow That Dream Productions. Joe loves performing and is addicted to the stage. He states that he has withdrawal when he is not on stage. Joe has done performances for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Saratoga Elks Club, The Ladies Auxiliary to the Piercefield Fire Dept. in Tupper Lake ,NY and even had a summer spot performing at Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George, NY in 2005. Joe has also performed for a number of non profit events as well. He truly loves his fans and connects with them by getting them involved with his shows. As an example to show just how much of a caring person Joe is, he recently took a 16 year old girl with Down Syndrome to her High School Prom. He agreed to take her when she told him no one would ask her to go. About a year ago, Joe lost a very close friend after a long illness. He use to take time to visit her in the nursing home that she resided in and even went to visit her in he hospital in full costume and presented her with a teddy bear and sang "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You". She was his greatest fan and referred to him as her “hottie“. Joe's family ,friends, and fans love his performances. His two biggest fans are his lovely wife Angela and his 4 year old daughter Sierra. They support him 100% in what he does and love being a part of what some ETA's call "The Elvis World" . Two top requested songs at each of Joe’s shows are "Hurt" and "How Great Thou Art". He works very hard to keep Elvis' memory alive, and to bring back those special memories of Elvis for the people who do remember him and for the future generations who are curious what Elvis Presley was all about.

WITH DEEPEST CONDOLENCES!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Pierce and Adams family. One of our members here, Ashley Pierce lost her mother, Georgianna Adams this morning. Georgianna was a BIG fan of Elvis and was a very kind hearted person. She will be GREATLY missed. We feel your pain and we are here for you.

New CD Finally Completed.
Hello To All.
It is with great excitement that I announce that my new CD is complete. It's been in the works for quite some time now. It is a Christmas CD and the title is "Joe Ramsey, Christmas Elvis Style." I am working on another one. I will let you know when that one is finished. And once again, Thank you all so much for your continued support.
