Good morning or afternoon, whatever it is...  Hope your doing well today and are having a great weekend!!  We have some friends in from back home (Chicago land area) and they have been here since Tuesday.  Today we are picking them up and taking them out to dinner and then after that we are going singing!!  The guy who handles my sound has a Karaokie gig on Saturday night here in town so it's a great place to sing, practice new songs, and have some fun.  You need to go to Graceland and take it all in; it's a beautiful place and just to see everything you have always seen in pictures is pretty incredable!!  You will LOOOOOOVE it!!  The only time I have been on the east coast for a gig/party was when I went to my wife's sister home in Baltimore, Maryland.  It was her husbands 50th birthday...  That's the only time...  But one never knows...  You need to come to Vegas for the Elvis event in July and you will see a bunch of us on the same stage that Elvis performed on; I have participated in that event for the last couple of years, since it started anyway.   It's a great time and that showroom has the best sound and lighting!!  And then you think, WOW - Elvis stood on this very same stage - it's pretty cool!!!  Better run, have to get ready for tonight!!  Have a great weekend!!  Take care!

Good morning, Karen!!  I'm enjoying my last vacaiton day for 2011 and treating myself to a nice four day weekend before it starts all over again...  You being a teacher, I bet you enjoying your time off, as well.  My dad was a teacher and we traveled quite a bit during the summer months, Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, and during the spirng break....  My birtday is December 19th, when is your?  We have some great friends you life in PHX and put us up for nice weekend; it was pretty cool.  I hope your Birthday was a happy one too!!  I never say EP in concert, he passed away when I was starting my freshman year in high school.  My did wouldn't have allowed it anyway as he doesn't like music anyway, or singers, from any type...  I was able to attend of the the Elvis The Concert show which is about the best you can get; it was AMAZING!!!!!  When the real orchastra kicks in with 2001 and then you had the full back up of voices...  I can only imagine what it must have felt when Elvis then walked on stage.  I cried through the whole show....  And yes, I have been to Graceland many, many times...  I used to live in Blythville, AR, which is 50 miles or so north of Memphis and I would take the bike down about everyweekend and just hangout.  Have you?  Did you ever see EP in concert?  What was it like??

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year to you, Karen!!  I received you email the other day but with my birthday, then Christmas, then the parents, then time with Emily, and now getting ready for the new years.... well, you get the idea.  Busy, busy, busy - just like everyone else!!  I hope your Christmas was a happy and joyful one!!  Ours went pretty good...  the weather was beautiful - in the 60's with LOTS of beautiful sunshine!!!  We drove up in the mountains yesterday to see the snow (lots of snow) and half of Las Vegas was up there, as well, enjoying the day.  Hope your having a good week and gearing up for the big party this weekend!!  Any special plans??  Take care and be safe!
