- About Me:
- I am the group organizer for the Spokane Elvis Club located in Spokane, Washington. My club members call me the King of Karaoke. I do sing and as you can see if you go to myspace.com/spokaneelvis. I have over 50 of my own songs on my player, compared to the 4 or 5 songs the E.T.A.'s have on theirs. I do perform for our monthly club meetings and annual summer parties we put on; which are always free to the public. We've had local E.T.A.'s entertain at our summer parties as well. One such person was Ben "Preslee" Klein, first place young Elvis at the contest in Memphis last summer. Ben ranks 5th Internationally now. Ben performed for us in '05 & '06 and was just phenominal. He is also an honorary member of the club. I've been running the club for three years now after finding it sitting idle with only a couple members and no organizer. Our club has also helped the Heritage Funeral home secure an E.T.A. for last years Memorial Show along with this years show which celebrates the Railroad and a Tribute to Johnny Cash. Our club also sets up a display at these functions. The show runs for three days, Saturday, 24th thru Monday, 26th. This event is also free to the public. If any of you are local to Spokane, come on over and join the club or be a friend.
