The Strings I Love

Rock is the main genre I love but then again, I listen to genres as well like classical or orchestra music, jazz, blues, hip hop and alike. You will not any problem with me when it comes to music. Flexible as a rubber band. Music is something you don't wanna lose in your life. It would be too damn boring if it happens.

A little advice about FREE SHOWS or APPEARANCES... and the difference!!!!!

A friend of mine who is fairly new in 'the biz' was asking me about requests to do FREE shows etc. Having a bit of experience with these things, I gave him some advice (which is worth what you paid for it, LOL) and afterwards decided it might be useful for others to consider. What you do, or don't do, is entirely up to you - but here is the guideline I use:

What would Elvis be like at 75?

Did you ever consider that if Elvis were alive he might be like a person in the nursing home? It is for this reason that I'm going to be doing some entertaining at the old folks home at the end of the month and I plan on doing more of these.

Elvis birthday concert featuring Michael O'Connor

What a birthday party it was for Elvis! Michael O'Connor sold out the Brook Arts Theater in Bound Brook,NJ on Saturday, Jan 9th. It was a great show. People were dancing in the isles, flocking the stage for scarves, and stayed long afterwards for photos and autographs. The great Bill Turner and Blue Smoke band did a wonderful job as backup. A large cake shaped as Graceland was featured in the lobby...later it was cut up for everyone to enjoy. Kudos to you again Michael for another awesome show!… Continue

I just want to say that I had a great opportunity to go to a show this past Saturday night, Jan. 9, 2010 to see the wonderful Ronnie McDowell and the legendary Jordanaires. Time to stop Beth Johnson disrespecting post to the fan clubs.

Two awesome SOLD OUT SHOWS in Albuquerque (Bernalillo), over 3400 and all merchandise SOLD OUT.

I'd like to thank all the fantastic fans who made this weekend's birthday special shows a total success. We set a record for attendance at the venue, outdrawing the Michael Jackson shows two months ago and COMPLETELY selling out the new Bosque center. The shows were excellent. My music director for the shows, Joe Spraker (who also MDs for Sheena Easton and others) was in top form and we rocked 'em.
